THE PICTURE OF SCRIPTURE is a vibrant, custom-published book celebrating contemporary Christian & faith-based artists and artwork. Unlike any other book, The Picture of Scripture is the first of its kind in showcasing contemporary Christian artwork in a high-quality, coffee table-style book. Comprised of original illustration, photography, digital composition and mixed media, The Picture of Scripture will bring recognition to the very best in artwork created to bring God glory and inspire contemporary interiors.
You may submit up to five entries of your best work. Submission fee is $30 for up to five entries. Submissions accepted via email only. Send your individual entry or entries to dallas@drotzdesign.com.
Maximum size for each email is 8mb; separate emails for each submission may be needed. An email link to download hosted artwork may also be submitted, along with hosted file delivery services (ie: YouSendIt.com).
Artwork needs to be at least 6”x 6” (or applicable orientation) at 300 DPI and saved in a high-quality .jpg file format. RGB or CMYK color profiles will be accepted, however RGB is preferred. File names should be your first and last name and the title of your piece, such as firstname_lastname_title.jpg. With each submission, please include your name as you would wish it to be displayed, URL(s) of your website(s)
or blog if you have one, title of your piece(s) (or specify “Untitled” if applicable) and a brief artist bio (4-6 sentences).

Why is this book being created?
This book is the first of its kind in terms of celebrating contemporary Christian/faith based
artwork in a high quality, coffee table-style book. Fine art in this emerging niche is ever increasing in popularity and the goal of this book is to bring recognition, along with exposure, to the artists, emerging artwork and styles.
Why is there a submission fee?
The submission fee helps cover the associated publication costs of writing, editing, and graphic design/layout.
Where will this book be available?
The Picture of Scripture will be sold through various online distribution channels, including Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com in the printed and e-book formats.
When will this book be available?
Printing and shipping will begin early Fall 2010. Advance copies will be available to contributing artists.
